Kinkaku-ji Temple

It is a famous temple in northern Kyoto city.
It was first built in 1397 but underwent a full reconstruction in 1955.
The temple's sparkling gold coat seemed almost to contradict the strong notion of tradition and 'oldness' that exists in Kyoto but even so, it is hard to deny that it was just spectacular.
